Visitors to the beauty salon website will be able to request an appointment by simply clicking a button on the left hand menu. They will be prompted to fill out a form with their name, phone number, email address, date and time of desired appoint, services requested and any comments that they might have. After submitting the form, customers will then receive a welcome email where they can choose if they prefer to be reminded of future appointments via text or email. After all details of the appointment and preferences are determined, clients will be reminded of their appointment date and time 21 days in advance and will be asked to confirm their appointment two days beforehand.
“We’ve thought about doing this for a while now,” Owner, Angie Lund explains. “We just wanted to ensure that we had a system in place that would be able to cater to all our clients’ communication needs. So many people prefer these automated communication options over the phone messages, but for those who still wish to be called, we are happy to call them. This will work for everyone.”
Those who use the new booking system will receive a thank you note and can also choose to fill out a survey of the new service and will be able to refer a friend and receive a $10 store credit. In addition they will also receive a monthly newsletter keeping them tuned in to all salon and spa happenings, spa services, and specials taking place at Athena during that particular month.
