If you would like to maintain this healthy glow in between spa services then you can also create homemade facials and apply them yourself. You can craft your own facial recipes at home from products around your house that will condition and moisturize your face in between salon visits. Here are some ideas for at-home facial treatments. At home Facial

Grapefruit Facial

Place an egg white into a bowl and beat until fluffy, add 1 tsp sour cream and 1 tsp grapefruit juice and mix with the fluffy egg whites. Apply the egg, sour cream and grapefruit juice mixture to your face after thoroughly washing it. Leave it on for 15 minutes and rinse with warm water.

Avocado Facial

Combine a mashed avocado with 1 tsp honey, 1 tsp plain yogurt and ½ tsp lemon juice to a bowl and mix. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let sit in your fridge for 30 minutes. While waiting for your avocado facial to chill, wash your face with a mild cleanser and rinse with cool water.  Apply the mixture to your face, leave on for 15 minutes and rinse off with warm water.

Banana Facial

Mix half of a banana, tablespoon orange juice, and a tablespoon honey together in a bowl. Apply the mixture to your face, leave it on for 15 minutes and rinse with warm water. Make sure to apply a facial moisturizer after rinsing.

Honey Citrus Mask

Combine 3 tablespoons orange juice and a half a cup of honey, apply to the face and leave on for a half an hour. Rinse with warm water, after this rinse with cool water and then apply a facial moisturizer.

Strawberry Facial Mask

Chop a handful of strawberries in a blender; add the juice of one lemon and ½ cup of yogurt. Place concoction in a bowl and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Once chilled for 30 minutes apply the mixture to your face and neck, leave on for ½ hour and rinse with cold water.

Before trying any of these home recipes make sure to test a small amount of each ingredient to the inside of your wrist to ensure that your skin will not negatively react to any of the ingredients. If your skin gets red, itchy, or starts to burn do not apply it to your face as this may signify an allergic reaction.

By creating and applying any one of these simple, at-home and organic recipes you can ensure that your face remains moisturized and lovely until your next scheduled salon and spa facial.
