Hi, I’m Amy. I began my interest in the human body at a very young age and have always been drawn to the mechanics and functions of the human body. I was a gymnast and a dancer in my younger years and I pursued dance at the University of Colorado. After an injury, I became a client of massage therapy and have been ever since. I attended massage school here in Colorado, and have been practicing for twenty years. I love it! The challenge in every session is to blend therapeutic techniques to create personalized treatment in order to reach a guest’s goal. I am interested in your goals as a client centered therapist. My style could be described as relaxing deep Swedish, incorporating deep tissue, treatment oriented neuromuscular, and trigger point therapy. Stretching exercises, strengthening exercises, passive and active range of motion techniques, and PNF stretching techniques can be added on to compliment specific goals. I have an extensive and continuing resume that includes training in face-lift massage, neuromuscular massage, raindrop therapy (essential oil treatment), and hot stone massage. My latest pursuit is attaining an Esthetician’s license, which will be a fantastic way to combine skin care and body treatments. Massage therapy is deeply rewarding and inspires transformation in spirit, body, and mind for both practitioner and guest. Working together always allows for the greatest healing.
