Katie has always loved the artistic side of beauty and even as a child was drawn to creative nail and makeup work. She began working in the beauty industry in 2008 as a “Prestige Makeup Artist” and decided to pursue her dreams for cosmetology where she won a makeup competition for her talents. Katie’s makeup experience includes every day looks, bridal and event, special effects, and avant-garde makeup looks. She also prides herself on her hand painted nail art. Katie’s other interests are playing the violin and writing in her journal. She is excited to share her time and talents with our Athena guests.
